For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Romans 1:20-22
I believe only in what is objectively confirmed as real. Subjective speculations about abstract supernatural beings do not belong to the world of objective reality. Therefore, the existence of the universe is certainly proof of the existence of the universe, and nothing more. The existence of the natural is proof of the existence of the natural, not the supernatural. What does the creation of everything natural out of nothing by a supernatural, invisible creator have to do with intuition?
The eternal power and divinity mentioned at the outset are immanent properties of the universe, not of a transcendent supernatural spirit, and are visible to the mind through the workings of its eternal and omnipotent laws operating in nature. And these are the ruthless, amoral and cruel evolutionary laws of the struggle for survival, without which there is no development. If, as theologians maintain, this amoral picture of the world is the result of the sin of Lucifer-Satan, then this means that the natural world is Luciferian.
Theologians, seeking to escape a brutal, satanic, indifferent reality and their fear of death, have devised dogmas concerning an afterlife that, once again, has nothing to do with objective reality and is purely speculative. This faith gives them a sense of the meaning of life. And how does Ecclesia Luciferi perceive the meaning of life in this Luciferian reality?
What is the meaning of life, you ask? Ask the animals, I reply. Why do they want to live rather than die? Or, put it another way, ask your instincts, inherited from your animal ancestors and bestowed upon you by nature. Before you reply that you, after all, possess consciousness and, unlike mindless beasts, require a deeper answer, let me say this once more: quiet your chaotic thoughts, forget about religion and philosophy for a moment, and listen to your instincts. Would they let you die if you listened to them rather than your confused mind? Instincts contain the answers to life’s most important questions because they come from nature, which created life itself. If you want to know how things work, ask their creator. Our instincts command us to continue life at all costs and pass it on to our offspring so that the species survives, and the species must survive so that life itself survives. The forces of nature ensure that the life of all organisms is passed on and continued. One might ask at this point: for what purpose? And although nature is under no obligation to make sense to us, yet since it created consciousness and this consciousness asks such questions, perhaps the answer lies in the assertion that organisms cling desperately to life and pass it on because life, as a phenomenon, having once come into being in nature, is meant to last forever, for as long as the universe itself? The same applies to consciousness. Consciousness, as a phenomenon in nature, may well exist forever, ever since it first appeared.
Out of fear of death, of non-existence, we often ask ourselves questions about the meaning of life; but as Epicurus wrote, there is no point in fearing death, because when we are, there is no death, and when there is death, we are not. But the fact that we will cease to be does not mean that life and consciousness as phenomena will also cease to exist. We are the bearers of eternal life and eternal consciousness, which may well be eternal. We are part of that eternity here and now, and we can pass it on as a gift.
Of all animals, man has the most highly developed consciousness, and this means, amongst other things, that he can ignore the wisdom of nature and commit suicide. Every time his weary mind suggests suicidal thoughts, he should turn to the wisdom of his animal instincts, and then he may survive. For within those instincts lies the full depth of the answer to the question of the meaning of life. And even if this answer may still be a mystery to our minds—just as it is a mystery in nature, for example, that most migratory birds are born with encoded information about the direction and duration of their flight, enabling them to undertake their first independent migration—the answer is nonetheless present in the instincts.
However, for example due to illness, there may be cases of inescapable suffering. In such instances, bearing in mind Epicurus’ teachings on death, it is not inappropriate to consider the option of assisted suicide, for permanent suffering is an evil.
When I realise that a bacterium invisible to the naked eye, or a virus, or a genetic defect, or a random accident can, in an instant, shatter my pride and my ego and strip me of the illusion of being a god unto myself, I realise that such self-deification is a mistake which, in the hour of my own illness or that of my loved ones, can only add to the suffering of the mind, because it will prove to be nothing but a false illusion. Arrogance born of ignorance is not the way of Pan-Satanism. Belief in illusions is not Pan-Satanism.
I know that I am part of something infinitely greater than myself. I know that my life and consciousness are part of something eternal. I know that the truth and the answers to questions about the meaning of life and suffering, and the meaning of death itself, are inscribed in nature and in the instincts derived from it. Godless and amoral nature is the Absolute. The forces of nature are objective truth; they are a causative power that reveals truth independently of will, which fits the definition of the Absolute as an unconditional being.
Nature is not merely a collection of objects, but an actively operating, supreme principle which possesses the reason for its own existence. The reason for my existence is entirely dependent upon, and derives directly from, the reason for the existence of this Godless Absolute. This is the answer given to me by my instincts as a human animal.
